High school is the most essential and most important part of American higher education. The American education theory will gradually start to expose students to more in-depth professional subjects from high school. At the same time, to prepare for the future university professional direction, there are many different courses in high school, such as engineering, carving, ceramics, woodworking.

GKE strongly encourages students to integrate into the new language environment as early as possible.  We recommend our students to stay at host families to communicate with locals in a new environment to improve their language skills and adapt to the local social environment.  Also, 95% of high school schools require students to stay in the local host family. Our students could learn about the local customs, adapt to the American family, and the social environment, and lay a solid foundation for future study.
